I became an End Of Life Doula because of my own personal experiences with end of life and death. And I wish I had known then what I know now: How to navigate these chapters with better planning, stronger support, regaining some control over what happens along the way, and with more grace. Death should not be only a medical event for your body. Doulas are the bridge between the medicine and the Holistic experience that is the end of this life. We are a trained extra layer of support for the caregivers, family, the medical community and friends. We are advocates, hand holders and promote empowerment.
If you, or someone you love, are facing a terminal diagnosis or the end of life, please know there is help out there for you. Everyone deserves all the compassion, information and support possible when facing this time. If I'm not your cup of tea, I promise that you can find beautiful Doulas out in the webverse. I can help you with that if you'd like.
My work is to help you live the best life you can with the time you have left, that all are treated with respect, dignity and given their voice. I can have the uncomfortable conversations with you, go into those dark spaces with you and bring in some light. Death is the final act of our Life, let us honor that with all the grace and love and beauty that we all deserve.
Facing the end of life is a tremendous act of Courage and Love.
I am honored to accompany you along this way.
